SCOTTISH WARRIORS ANNOUNCE THE FUTURE.

The Scottish Warriors paintball team have been at the frontline of UK paintball for 7 years.  Now, they unveil their plans for 2010 and beyond.

With the recent big shake up in team organisation, team captain Tony Lindsay began to look around for a sponsor that could meet the full range of requirements the team demanded.

“As paintball players and supporters, I believed that both Garry Dalziel and I would be able to bring some fresh ideas to the paintball industry” said Tony.  “We were looking for a way to bring about the best partnership we could for the teams in The Scottish Warriors stable.”

The solution became clear.  What the Scottish Warriors needed was a manufacturer who could supply markers to both the scenario and tournament paintball teams.  One manufacturer began to stand out.

“We had been hearing a lot about the new scenario styled marker they had just released, and had seen the performance of their high end tournament marker too.” explained Tony. “The efficiency was incredible, the build quality superb.  We knew they were for us.”

But who was this potential sponsor?

“It is with great pleasure that we can confirm our new sponsor as MacDev.” announced Tony.  “We will be using the full range of MacDev gear over the coming year, as well as shooting MacDev paint.”

In order to make the most of this opportunity, Tony and Garry went one step further – the formation of SW Paintball Ltd.  

Tony said “This is a big step for me. I have been in the communications industry for 20 years and I am looking forward to this new challenge in the paintball industry. SW Paintball will be aiming to promote MacDev as one of the best paintball manufacturers in the world, bringing them more fully to the attention of the UK paintball community.”

SW Paintball will provide the full range of MacDev paintball goods to both dealers and retail customers.  This range covers everything from high quality markers, including the tactical drone and high end Cyborg RX, to an emerging range of soft goods and MacDev’s own brand of paintballs.

“We will be providing a direct retail store in Glasgow, providing a trade stand at all major big games and tournaments and offering an online outlet too.” said Tony.  “We will also be providing a technical support service for MacDev products at all venues attended by the trade stand, as well as online help via the tech forum.”
